Contest Rules & Regulations

These Rules & Regulations apply to every contest hosted on Cast The Crown, regardless of category. By creating a contest or submitting an entry, you agree to follow these rules in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
General Rules (Apply to All Contests)
- Age requirement: All entrants and voters must be 18 years of age or older, unless a contest's specific rules explicitly permit parental consent for minors.
- Alcohol-related contests: If a contest involves alcohol in any way — including brand sponsorship, alcohol as a prize, or alcohol present at an associated event — the minimum age to participate as a Contestant or Voter for that specific contest is 21 years of age or older. It is the Contest Admin's responsibility to set and enforce this correctly.
- One entry per contest, unless the specific contest's rules state otherwise.
- Original content only. You must own or have the right to submit any photos, videos, or other content you upload.
- No vote manipulation. Automated, bulk, purchased, or otherwise manipulated votes are prohibited and will result in disqualification.
- Organizer's decision is final. The Contest Admin's decisions regarding entries, disqualifications, and winners are final in all matters.
- Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent unless the contest states otherwise.
- Cast The Crown is a technology platform only — we do not organize, sponsor, or guarantee the outcome of any individual contest. See our Terms and Conditions for full details on platform liability.
Category-Specific Rules
Contest Admins select a category when creating a contest. The rules below apply based on that category, in addition to the General Rules above.
Model Contest
- Photos must be original and taken within the last 12 months.
- Photos must not contain nudity, explicit content, or offensive material.
- By entering, you grant the contest organizer permission to use your photos and name for promotional purposes related to this contest.
Car Show
- All vehicles entered must be road legal or meet the specific show requirements set by the organizer.
- Photos must accurately represent the vehicle as it will appear at the show.
- The owner or authorized representative must be present at the event if required by the organizer.
Photography
- Entrant must be the sole original creator of all submitted photos.
- Basic editing (color correction, cropping) is permitted; composite images or AI-generated content must be disclosed and may be restricted at the organizer's discretion.
- Entrant retains ownership of their photos but grants the organizer permission to display and promote the entry.
Art Show
- Entrant must be the original creator of the submitted artwork — no reproductions or direct copies of another artist's work.
- Photos of the artwork must accurately represent the piece.
- Entrant retains ownership of their artwork but grants the organizer permission to display and promote the entry.
Fashion Show
- Photos must represent the entrant's own design or styling work.
- Photos must not contain nudity, explicit content, or offensive material.
- By entering, you grant the contest organizer permission to use your photos and name for promotional purposes related to this contest.
Talent Show
- Submitted performances must be the entrant's own original work; entrant must have rights to any music, choreography, or material used.
- Content must not contain explicit, offensive, or dangerous material.
- By entering, you grant the contest organizer permission to use your submitted content and name for promotional purposes related to this contest.
For Contest Admins
By creating a contest, you additionally agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your contest, including dates and any prizes.
- Fairly review and moderate contestant submissions.
- Honor any prizes or awards you advertise.
- Comply with all applicable laws governing contests, sweepstakes, and promotions in your jurisdiction — including setting the correct age requirement (18+ or 21+) for your specific contest.
